
DESCRIPTION
During my last year at Game Sup, we were challenge to make a Game Prototype during 3 weeks. For this exercise, we choose to make custom level for the game God Of War Ragnarok.
I was in charge of the level of the DLC called "A Faye Story". In this level we incarn Faye during a deer hunt session where we have to track the deer and use the ice power of Faye to progress in the level.





CONTEXT
God of War Ragnarok is an Action-Adventure. The level design is Designed with a pattern that altern between New Mechanic.

I analysed the Level Design of God of War Ragnarok
I made the Documentation and the Layout of the level
I made the Level Blouckout according to the documentation
I organised Playstests and made changes according to the Feedbacks

INTENTIONS
I planned to create a level following the pacing that Santa Monica studio create the level design experience in the God of War series for their last games.
Moodboard
My objectives was to create a transition between an automn forest and a cave, the ambiance go from brown yellow to a blue cave.
MOLECULAR
I tried to make a level where the start is the end but without "go back" pacing.
LEVEL ELEMENTS
I tried to exploit some of the original level elements like the marks that lead the player where he can climb, a new feature: the cryokinesis that let the player build an ice bridge and destructive elements.
